I first discovered Lee Kleinhelter‘s talent back in 2006 when I read about her home in Cottage Living.
I loved her clever use of fishing traps — for the chandelier in the dining room and the lobster/eel trap above the mantel.
And discovered her store Pieces in searching for the washbasin mirror over the fireplace in her living room.
Lee’s style of mixing vintage pieces with modern furnishings is what I fell in love with six years ago, and still holds true today. Lee designed the Sanctuary room in Elle Decor’s Modern Life Concept House, which opened up to the public on May 25th in New York. It’s my favorite room.
From idea to execution.
