Last weekend, I attended the NY International Gift Fair, and soaked up a bit of NYC. Around the corner from our hotel in Chelsea, is one of the Remains Lighting showrooms, which is closed on Saturdays and Sundays. Tracy and I were drawn to two of the lanterns hanging in the window: a turquoise Marlowe, and another one with antique rondelle glass.
Through the gate you can spot the turquoise lantern on the left and the one with antique rondelle glass on the right. At first we thought the gate was sort of annoying, making it difficult to peer in further into the showroom, but it’s amazing where inspiration shows up — as the wavy pattern cast a shadow onto the glass door.
The watermelon pink door frame was so pretty, and stuck in my head as we walked through the Javits Center and Pier 94. There are lots of fun pops of brights to look forward to this Spring and Summer — turquoises, reds, yellows and oranges. But I’m digressing a bit to Honeysuckle pink, and have listed some of my favorite things from the NYIGF.

Stacy, Hope you had a successful show! I thought it was cool – the coincidence of seeing that high gloss trim color on the Remains Lighting storefront and then the Palm Beach, Darling! Great to catch up with you as well!
Love love love this color!! Thank you SO much for including our brand new “Krystle” finial! Xo Hillary
Hillary, If I wasn’t on the pink train, I also love your Careless Whisper & Back in Black finials. Who doesn’t need a little George Michael & AC/DC to rock-out to in their homes?
